Dear Diary
Today at school Ms Caroline got really upset with me. Since I live in Maycomb a place where most people know how to read, it was easy for me to learn how to read at my age I was practically born knowing how to read. I felt awkward and confused when my teacher Ms Caroline got mad at me for that fact that I already know how to read and I don't need to learn how to like the other kids in my grade. She told me to tell Atticus that he was a bad teacher and she didn't want him to be teaching me anything related to school.
I thought Ms Caroline was been extremely ridiculous about the whole situation. I always thougth teacher should be proud of you for been advance in a subject. I wonder why she acted the way she did. I don't know maybe she felt like she was wasting her time for trying to teach a student how to read while they already knew how to read.
when I got home I told Atticus that I wanted to stop going to school. right away he looked at me in a Archaic way. Right away I knew he wasn't gone like what I was saying but no matter what I had to let him know. I told him how Ms Caroline got upset for that fact that I am really good at reading and she told me to forget everything I had learned in the past because she was gone re teach it to me and most of all how she think that Atticus is a bad teacher even do he doesn't teach me anything. what I learn I learn it by my self. as soon as I told Atticus that I knew he still didn't agree with me about me not wanting to go to school anymore but at the end we decided to make an agreement which was to go to school and not let Ms Caroline now that I was still reading at home and I wasn't forgetting about what I had learn in the past.

Hey Kim! I loved your post. I thought it was really good. I liked how you talked about Ms. Caroline. You sort of described her differently than I had originally thought of her, so I thougth that was really cool. Also, I really liked how you talked about Scout talking to Atticus about the whole thing.
I thought it was a little short, and you didn't really talk about anyone other than Atticus and Ms. Caroline, and I think you should talk about more people next time- like Dill, or Jem, or Calpurnia.
All in all, I thought it was really good! Carly
Next time you should use more of the vocabulary words.
I think you did a good job writing in character, when I read it, it really sounded like something scout would say.
